Antique assassins knife concealed within a religious wooden crucifix box formed in the shape of a coffin. The hinged crucifix lid opens to reveal a hidden double-bladed knife housed inside the interior cavity. The blade is stamped SANCTUS DIES, translated as Saint Day.

The wooden coffin-shaped box presents as a religious object when closed, with the crucifix lid forming the exterior. Upon opening, the concealed knife is revealed, demonstrating the dual nature of the piece as both a devotional object and a hidden blade. The knife remains securely fitted within the box, and the stamped markings on the blade are clearly visible.

The wooden box displays honest age-appropriate wear, with well-defined carved details and a functioning hinged lid. The knife remains securely fitted within its compartment, and the stamped marking on the blade is clearly legible. This is a compelling object that straddles the line between religious artifact, concealed weapon, and historical curiosity. An unusual and highly distinctive antique item combining religious symbolism with a concealed double-bladed knife, possibly used by a covert assassin of the time!
