What is Chromax Steel?

Chromax is a semi-stainless steel engineered at the precise threshold where chromium addition maximizes rust resistance without compromising the razor-sharp cutting performance of carbon steel. Its three-layer clad construction features a Chromax steel core sandwiched between rust-resistant soft stainless steel, delivering the best of both worlds: the edge retention of carbon steel and the durability of stainless.
