Description

The Costa Nova 9 Oz. Friso Tea Cup & Saucer Set captures the spirit of relaxed European sophistication, bringing timeless charm to your daily tea rituals and gatherings. Expertly manufactured from fine stoneware, this 9 oz. set is perfectly proportioned for a comforting blend of herbal tea, traditional English breakfast, or a creamy caf au lait. Coated in a brilliant white glossy glaze, the cup features a comfortable, classic handle that pairs harmoniously with its matching round saucer. The true hallmark of the Friso collection lies along the softly fluted, hand-painted rims of both pieces, providing a distinct artisanal warmth.

Engineered to easily navigate the rigorous, high-volume demands of luxury hotels and upscale tea rooms, this stoneware tea set offers exceptional professional-grade durability. Its incredibly strong, chip-resistant, and scratch-resistant structure withstands frequent everyday use while maintaining its aesthetic. Furthermore, the completely non-porous glazed surface acts as an impenetrable barrier against stubborn tea stains and residual oils, guaranteeing your favorite blends always taste clean and uncompromised.

Marrying historic European craftsmanship with modern utility, this set adds ultimate convenience to contemporary kitchens. Sold as a practical case of 6, it is ideal for entertaining and transitions smoothly across various temperature environments, making it entirely safe for use in the freezer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Fine stoneware displays outstanding structural resilience against thermal shock from -20C to 250C (0F – 500F), though users should note that the maximum recommended thermal variation is 180C (350F).

All pieces also meet international food safety standards, including FDA requirements for lead and cadmium. Because each item is hand-finished, subtle variations in appearance ensure your piece gives your dining table an authentic, artisanal allure.
