This original German WWII Hitler Youth (HJ) dagger is produced by the desirable and uncommon Solingen maker R. C. Jacobs, a name sought after by advanced edged-weapon collectors. Measuring approximately 10 inches overall with a 5.5-inch blade, this dagger conforms to the classic HJ pattern carried by German youth organizations during the Third Reich period.

The blade bears the correct R. C. Jacobs, Solingen maker mark, confirming its manufacture in Germanys famed blade-producing region. The proportions, construction, and finish are consistent with period examples, making this an honest and collectible representation of a wartime HJ dagger. Examples by lesser-known Solingen makers such as Jacobs are increasingly difficult to locate, particularly in collectible condition.

Hitler Youth daggers were symbolic items intended to instill ideological loyalty and discipline among German youth, making them historically significant artifacts of the era. Today, original examples, especially those by scarcer manufacturersare prized additions to WWII edged weapon collections.
