This spoon has a quick drop so that it can get down to the target area quickly, and the rapid movement helps draw the attention of larger predators. The flashy blades and bright colors work great for darker waters. The split on the end of the spoon mixed with the free moving blades helps to kick up the water, creating vibrations that pull in larger fish to investigate.
