This soapstone Mortar & Pestle is a great kitchen addition for those people who like to entertain. With its beautiful, smooth finish, it can be used to crush and grind spices and herbs in addition to guacamole and salsas. Due to soapstones temperature-retaining qualities, you can pre-cool the piece in the refrigerator prior to serving, keeping the salsa or guacamole chilled for an exceptionally long period of time.
